Spirit of Play Foundation for exhibitors

The Spirit of Play Foundation, initiated by Spielwarenmesse eG, brings together the charitable initiatives of our national and international events to focus on play as an elementary basic need. We are convinced that play is far more than just entertainment - it is an essential part of children's development. With the Foundation, we want to reinforce this message and give children around the world access to valuable toys through targeted fundraising campaigns.

At our leading global event, the Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg, we offer exhibitors every year the opportunity to participate in the Spirit of Play Foundation. The toys donated by the companies will be given to carefully selected projects in daycare centres, schools and social institutions. In addition to local projects, we will continue to expand our activities at international level, for example in Brazil, together with our representatives.

How can you get involved?

Is your company taking part at Spielwarenmesse 2027 as an exhibitor and would like to contribute to the donation project? Please take a moment to fill in our online form. 

Donation drop-off

You can hand in your donations on Saturday, 6 February 2027, between 2 pm and 5 pm at the following locations in the loading bays:

• Loading bay 4/5
• Loading bay 1/3C
• Loading Bay 9/10

Alternatively, our volunteers will be happy to collect the items directly from your stand. You can indicate this in the survey above.

Please remember to only donate products that are approved in the EU, as the recipients of the donations are based in the EU/Germany.
